Funded by HEKS/EPER and the Palestinian Investment Fund (PIF), “StationJ on Wheels” is an ongoing project that commenced in late December 2023, empowering marginalized youth through digital literacy training and psychosocial support. The project introduces an innovative approach to deliver digital literacy sessions and psychosocial support to marginalized communities in East Jerusalem and its surrounding areas, by utilizing Station J’s hybrid training vehicle. Under the guidance of professional trainers, this initiative seeks to empower youth who will then act as ambassadors, utilizing their newly acquired abilities to help vulnerable communities in areas located to the northwest of Jerusalem, Bedouin villages, and marginalized regions around Jerusalem, such as Silwan, Jabal Mukaber, and Al-Eizariya. By targeting areas with limited digital access, the project aims to equip participants with skills to address local challenges and become agents of positive change.
